Scandi style hall table

A pretty but previously very dark varnished vintage console table, given a new lease of life for a characterful home.  Super useful as somewhere neat in your hallway to store your keys (in a bowl or line the drawer to protect the paint though!) and sort your post; or would work well as a dressing table or even in the bathroom.  I've repaired it, prepared it and painted it in a hardwearing chalk & mineral paint designed for outdoors so it's water resistant.  I have then hand decorated it with sweet birds and poppies and finished with two coats of lacquer and two of wax for a gentle glow.
